No it is not.
Typically AC motors have carbon brushes that create friction as they run, which can wear out over time and reduce the motor's lifespan. They also are less efficient, tend to be noisier and are not as powerful meaning your blow dry will be much faster with a BLDC motor. I am so happy I purchased this ionic hair dryer! I was hesitant as ive recently bought a ghd hair dryer but just a hair dryer. So I thought do I really need it...
Lets say YES I do!
The curling barrels are so easy to use and hair curling is quick and easy. I can say I will finally have blow wave hair without the struggle of actually doing it. I'd walk around with crap hair being a mum of 2 and not having an hour a day to style my hair but this is a game changer.
The hair dryer itself is so light yhat you dont feel like you've done an arm workout and it folds so compact that it stores away with no handle sticking out of your compartment/drawer.
And let's not to mention the silicone strap to tidy up the cord and the super sleek bag it comes in.

I've had many hair products, but I've never seen something this functional and beautiful. It's much better than similar products on the market, which are also much more expensive. It's already exceptional, starting with the hairdryer but you would never expect the wonderful result of the other accessories. and it's even more beautiful with its pink color! The case is beautiful and comfortable. The fact that the phone can be closed makes it even more convenient to carry. It’s the top of the top!
