Plaits, Twists & Trends: The Ultimate 2025 Braid Inspo

Braided hairstyles are the ultimate way to elevate any look. Whether you’re heading to a festival, embracing the ballet-core trend, or just want an effortless yet put together vibe. This season, braid trends are all about versatility, from easy braids you can do in minutes to intricate styles that will turn heads. Let’s break down some must try looks.

01 Bubble Braids

If you’re heading to a festival or just looking to elevate your everyday style, Bubble Braids are the perfect choice. This chic look offers a quick and simple way to achieve the classic braid effect by using multiple hair ties instead of spending time on intricate braiding.

How to get the look:

01 Start with a clean and sleek base, using the Styling Brush to slick the hair into the position of your liking and securing it with a hair tie.

02  Using a wax stick to slick down those stray baby hairs and finishing with a gel wand for a smooth finish.

03 Now for the bubbles… decide the distance you want between each bubble and start tying the hair ties evenly along the pony tail.

04 Finish by pulling to create volume on each section for the ultimate bubble effect.

02 Ribbon Braids

The ‘cutesy’ take on the classic braid is the Ribbon Braid. As we are heading into the ballerina core era, adding ribbons to your braids is the effortless way to add a feminine touch to your look.

How to get the look:

01 For a sleek base start with the Styling Brush to slick your hair into desired position and secure with a hair tie. Follow with a wax stick and gel wand to secure hairs into place.

For a messy un-done base start by adding waves to the hair with the Double Waver and tie the hair loosely into desired position leaving out face framing pieces.

02 Secure hair into position with a hair tie.

03 Separate your hair into three equal sections. The ribbon should be part of one of the strands. Weave the ribbon along with one of the hair strands, crossing over as you normally would.

04 Once you reach the end of your braid, tie it off with a hair tie and tie the ribbon into a bow. You can also tie an extra bow around the hair tie at the base to elevate the look.

03 Face-Framing Braids

Face framing braids are the perfect way to incorporate braids into a hair down moment. This can take your everyday hair to the next level and can be achieved in minutes.

How to get the look:

01 Start with hair down and styled to your choosing. For a blowout look go in with the Blow Dry Brush and smooth out the hair creating loose bouncy waves.

For a wavy look go in with the  Double Waver and create relaxed beach waves.

For a straight look start with the Straightener and smooth the hair out using advanced heat technology for a healthy shine.

02 Decide how thick you would like your braids to be and create small sections in the front of the hair and clip these down to hold.

03 One at a time create small plaits in the hair and secure at the base with small hair ties.

04 Leave these sleek or go in and tousle the braids with your fingers to create an edgy look.

You can also go in and create several of these throughout the hair. This is such a fun way to elevate the everyday or wear this hairstyle to your next festival.

04 The Rope Braid

The rope braid is the perfect way to take braids to the next level. This look will leave people wondering “how did she do that?”

How to get the look:

01 Start with smooth, straightened hair using the Straightener to seal in moisture and reduce frizz.

02 Apply a wax stick along the roots and use the Styling Brush to sleek everything back.

03 Gather your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with a tight elastic.

04 To create the Twisted Bubble Braid: Divide the ponytail into two sections.

05 Then twist both sections individually in the same direction.

06 Wrap them around each other in the opposite direction to create a rope-like effect.

07 Secure with a small elastic a few inches down, then gently pull apart each section to add volume and create that soft, structured look.
