What Mermade Products We’re Loving

It was so hard to choose but over the last month, making it into our top 3 at number 1 is definitely the Double Waver. We just can’t move past how light and easy to use it is. 

Closely following the Double Waver, are the Heatless Curls Kit and the Pink Claw Clip. 

How We’re Doing Our Hair

At the moment, we just can’t go past a bouncy blow out. The style is so timeless and looks great on everyone. The Heatless Curls Kit we are loving is great to achieve this and is saving our hair through the Aussie summer from adding any extra heat. 

What We’re Wearing

This last month, the girls at Mermade HQ are loving anything in dress or skirt form, especially in the current Australian heat. We are obsessed with the girly, vintage styles and patterns making a comeback this year, like polka dots and gingham. The Sadie Petite Spot Dress in Noir by Realisation Par and Costes Midi Skirt in Plum by Mode Mischief Studios are two items next on our purchase list. Bows to accessorise is a must.

For more formal events the girls are loving anything Deconduarte, especially the RTW Berry Paradiso Maxi Set. In terms of workwear and a staple everyone should have in their wardrobe we are loving the Henne Gisella Jeans. 

What We’re Cooking On Repeat

Currently, we’re in our baking era. You know what that means…lots of banana bread and banana muffins. The best banana muffin recipe here. Also we can’t go past chocolate chip cookies. Our current favourite recipe here. 

On the savoury side, we are opting for fresh summer salads such as this Tineats soba noodle salad here and authentic bun thit nuong here.

Our Go-To Drink of Choice

On the weekend the girls are loving a spicy Margarita. Here is our current go to recipe. 

In the mornings lately we’ve been trying to cut our caffeine and switching to iced strawberry matchas. We’re finding this so nice and fresh for the summer.
