Step 1. Start with clean wet hair and select your desired attachment:

Concentrator: Select one section of hair (not wider than 5cm) and place the brush underneath the hair near the roots. With the styling nozzle facing downward on your hair, move the brush and hairdryer in a single movement until it reaches the end of your hair. Repeat on other sections of hair.

Curling Barrel: Ensure the hair is 90% dry. Select one section of hair (not wider than 5cm) and place tool underneath the ends of your hair. Let the tool wrap the hair starting from the ends around the barrel using airflow, and hold for a few seconds before releasing for smooth, voluminous curls. One barrel will turn the hair to the left, while the other barrel will turn the hair to the right.

Diffuser: Place sections of damp hair into the diffuser's bowl, and use a low heat setting while gently scrunching or lifting the hair for defined, frizz-free curls.
Step 2. Select your desired temperature and power setting to style hair, then press the COOL button to set your hair in place with cool air.
Step 3. Hold down the power button to turn off.
Step 4: Take 1-inch sections of hair, using our Mermade Grip Clips to easily separate hair. Start at the root and simply clamp the waver for 2 seconds to create big, bouncy waves. Release the clamp and move it down the section of hair, ensuring you overlap slightly with the last wave to create the perfect finish
Self cleaning function: Press the Cool Air button for 2-3 seconds when the hair dryer is on the OFF state, to turn on the self-cleaning function, the self-cleaning process will last 10 seconds. After the hair dryer runs for 40hrs, “888" and "cleaning brush" will flash for 20 seconds. If the automatic cleaning is not completed after the reminder, it will remind you again for 20sec when you turn it on next time.
- Allow all heat tools to cool down before stowing away.
- Heated appliances should only be rested on heat proof surfaces.
- Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

No it is not.
Typically AC motors have carbon brushes that create friction as they run, which can wear out over time and reduce the motor's lifespan. They also are less efficient, tend to be noisier and are not as powerful meaning your blow dry will be much faster with a BLDC motor. In addition, the M Ionic Hair dryer has digital heat control and sensors that maintain a steady temperature, helping to prevent overheating and ensuring better protection for the hair.
Hold a section of almost dry hair near the barrel, and the airflow will wrap the hair around it automatically.

I was initially very confused about which styling tool to buy. I have naturally wavy, frizzy, shoulder-length hair, and I spent a long time researching what would genuinely suit my hair type. I compared many highly publicised tools that are constantly promoted by influencers and I am genuinely glad I made this choice.
EVERY SINGLE DAY I have stepped out after using this product, I received compliments and this is coming from me, someone who has very limited skill when it comes to using hair tools. I did struggle a bit on the very first day, but once I understood how it works, I was genuinely impressed with the results.
Beyond functionality, the product is also beautiful. The soft pink colour and sleek design make it feel elegant and very different from the bulky, clunky, industrial look of the Dysons and Sharks. Love it so far, only just it a couple of times but seems very easy to use. The on/off switch is a little delayed which was a little confusing in the beginning but I am sure I get used to it.
